SEO is the single most complex and bewildering part of designing and marketing a new website. There are hundreds of companies guaranteeing  “Get on Page #1 of Google” . Some are ridiculously cheap and some are so stupidly expensive – its hard to figure out who’s legitimate and who’s not.

One thing is certain; SEO takes time.

Successful SEO requires the vast majority of your pages to be fine tuned to suit your objectives.

• Suggest small structural changes that will assist in helping your ranking.
• Review your links and comments about your company on the internet.
• Suggest Social Media and other Blogs that will be worth connecting with.

Level 2 – The Attack Plan – Full Market & Website Analysis – One off $750.00

Armed with this full market report and SEO package you should be able to work on 75% of your SEO and online marketing in house. It sets up a strategy for the long term where you have a manual of things to work on yourself

• Conduct a Full Analysis of your Competitors so we can establish for certain why they are performing better and how we can adopt their strategies.

• We will set out in easy to understand language a Search engine optimization strategy for your business.

• Suggest redesigning parts of your website to ensure you are converting visitors to customers.    As an example; between 50%-60% of shopping carts are abandoned before check out.

• Improve Web Usability of your site so people find what they want quickly and easily (see our page on web usability for more details).

• Suggest small structural changes that will help with your SEO. ie. Html and Title Tag changes.

• Review issues with download speed. In the era of smart phones it is vital to have a fast loading site.

• Research your target audience and potential market both online and offline- competitors, potential partners, and emerging markets

• Keyword Research- learning what words people use when they search for terms relating to your industry is vitally important.

• Run your current articles and pages through an Algorithm that is similar to Google’s to find the best words to spice up your content (without changing much content)

• Inform you of the best Affiliate marketing options available for your niche (if applicable).

• Review the visual aspects of your website. Add some new photographs, suggest different colours or even additional graphics might be needed to spruce up the site.

• Teach you or your staff Search engine optimisation techniques so you can propel your business forward.
• Monitor your website so we understand what pages are successful, what aren’t and take action to improve them
• Create new content in the form of new articles or add more oomph to your copy
• Clean up redundant pages ensuring your website loads as fast as possible
• URL optimisation – making URLs search engine friendly
• Issue Press Releases and Social Media Announcements on your behalf
• Set-up some more complex programs that can assist with SEO such as geositemaps, microformats and many other little hidden gems that can make your business stand out.
• Continually review the market to see any changes that might be happening and how you can benefit from them
• Contact you regarding any new technologies that maybe of assistance for you
• Build inbound links to your website
• Submit your site and update your listings on some key directories. Most directories are nect to useless but there are some that are worthwhile.
• Set up some guest posts for you on various other blogs.
• Monitor any issues Google might have in crawling and indexing your site and remedy them

Medium Sized Businesses – $750 initially (as above) then $400+ p/month

Once you get to larger scale websites the maintenance and reporting time varies widely as such it really is a case by case price.

If you want to get #1 on Google for keyword ‘Accountant Sydney’ it will take some serious  mouse clicks, keyboard strokes and late night pizzas so I won’t even be brave enough to give you a guestimate here.
